Richard "Dick" Thomas Bussinger

Richard "Dick" Bussinger of Chesaning, Michigan, passed away Thursday January 31, 2019 at the age of 80 years. Richard was born on March 14, 1938 to the late Thomas and Madeline "Babe" (Delemeester) Bussinger. Richard graduated from St. Charles High School in 1956. He married Patricia Sova on November 11, 1959, she predeceased him in 2006. Richard served in the United States Navy on the USS Remey. He had a passion for car racing, gardening, and woodworking. He was a true animal lover. He also spent some of his time being a private pilot. During retirement Richard started the Bussinger Tree Farm. He is survived by many family members including his four sons; Mark (Jennifer) Bussinger, Dale Bussinger, Scott (Sandra) Bussinger and Jim Bussinger. He is also survived by his brother Charles "Chuck" (Roxana) Bussinger and his grandchildren Kelly, Brooke, Crystal, Athena and Michelle. Richard will be greatly missed by many. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm Saturday February 9, 2019 at W.L. Case and Company 201 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw, Michigan. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
