Miller, Richard Andrew "Rick" Rick was born in Saginaw on January 11, 1974, in Saginaw. He passed away February 12, 2014, in Margate, Fl. Rick leaves behind to cherish his memory a daughter, Clover Miller and two sons, Bearett and Otto Miller. His Mother Bonnie (Parish) Miller and Clarence Greenberg of Birch Run, MI. grandmother Pauline Kraxner of Bay City, MI; and brother, James Miller (who he always called "Brother") of Sarasota, FL; Friend, soul mate, and love, Shannon Beatty of Margate, FL; aunt and uncle, Susan and William VanSickle of Saginaw; nephews, Sinjun, Ashton, Thoren Miller and Troy Johnson; niece Zoey Miller all of FL; several cousins and their families; life-long friends Josh Traverro, Adam Becker, and Walter Zalenski, and numerous other friends in Florida and Michigan. Rick was a proud member of the Sault Sainte Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Rick was a contractor for many years and recently was employed as a landscaper. He attended Holy Cross Lutheran Church and School where he played basketball. He attended Valley Lutheran High School. He loved his Michigan Wolverines (GO BLUE!), and Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tiger and the Lions. Rick was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to camp and fish with his children and friends. He loved to garden with his children. He taught them to love and respect nature as he did. Rick was preceded in death by his Grandparents, William Parish and John Kraxner, Bernadette and Fred Miller; and by a very special Uncle, William (Bill) Parish. Cremation and a private celebration of Rick's life has taken place. Those planning an expression are asked to consider the Fellowship for Living 451 Banks Road, Margate, Florida 33063.
