Bruske, Richard R. Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2016, age 74 years. He was born on November 12, 1941, son of the late Roland and Cecilia (Glowicki) Bruske, in Saginaw. Richard married the love of his life, Sandra Buxman on June 16, 1962, she survives him. He retired from Saginaw Steering Gear, Plant #3 after many years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local #699. He was also a member of the Hemlock Boosters where he had served as President for several years. He had a strong passion for woodworking and enjoyed going to the movies. Richard was always very supportive of his children and grandchildren. They could always count on him attending their sporting events, going on camping trips and traveling.
Surviving besides his wife, Sandra, are his loving family, his children, Rick (Judy) Bruske, Trenton, MI, Jeff (Paula) Bruske and Tammy Gillespie; his grandchildren, Nick (Heather) Bruske, Alexis Gillespie, Cody, Erika, Cole and Skylar Bruske; his great grandchildren, Jaxsin and Scarlette Bruske; his sister-in-law, Connie (Bob) Malcolm, his brother-in-law, Fred (Marty) Buxman; his nephews, Randy (Tamara) Malcolm and Brett Buxman; his nieces, Kelly and Morgan Buxman; his great nephew, Bryce Malcolm; also many other special relatives and friends, including Diana and Pat Mahoney. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son-in-law, Vincent Gillespie, his nephew, Rob Malcolm and his mother and father-in-law, Fred and Shirley Buxman. The family would like to extend their appreciation to his special caregivers, Jessica, Tina and Jennifer.
Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Road. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the wishes of the family.
