Richard W. Murlick

Richard W. Murlick (Pops) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016, in the comfort of his home at age 69. The son of the late John and Albena (Baker) Murlick was born July 9, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was employed by General Motors, Grey Iron Foundry, retiring with over 40 years of service. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Bridgeport and the Birch Run Mason Lodge # 514 F & AM. His passion was hunting, fishing and camping at the Alcona County Park where he was the unofficial mayor. Surviving are a daughter, Patty Murlick; a son and daughter-in-law; John and Cathy Murlick; a grandson, Brayden; a sister and brother-in-law, Anna and David Childs; a niece and nephew, Linda Davis and Bill Cramer; several great nieces and nephews and his dog, Abby. He was predeceased by his beloved dog, Cheyenne. In accordance with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation with family and friends will be held at the W. L. Case and Co.
