Rickie Alan Doyle

Rickie Alan Doyle, age 67, of Burt, Michigan, passed away peacefully at home on February 11, 2025. 

Rickie was born on June 12, 1957, in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Betty (Riethmeier) and the late Mitchell “Mike” Doyle. Rickie was a vibrant and caring individual, known for his fun-loving personality and deep commitment to family and friends.

Rickie attended Bridgeport High School. He was a hard worker and owned and operated Rickie D. Trucking. He was an avid outdoorsman and found joy in deer hunting and spending cherished moments fishing with his granddaughter Lily. He built lasting memories while traveling to Florida and enjoying time with the “Florida Gang.”

On July 21, 1979, Rickie married Mary K. (Sammons) Doyle, and together they shared a loving partnership that lasted 45 years. He is survived by his loving wife Mary; mother, Betty Doyle; daughter, Mary Doyle and her partner Steve Spencer, son, Rickie Doyle and his wife Colleen, and son, Mitchell “Mike” Doyle; granddaughter, Lily Doyle; three brothers, Mike Doyle, Ted Doyle, and Chris Doyle, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Rickie was preceded in death by his father, Mitchell Doyle; and sisters Cathy Elisech, Pauline Saenz, and Bonnie Doyle. 

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 5700 Dixie Hwy, Saginaw, MI 48601. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with interment to follow in Spaulding Township Cemetery. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate the service.
