Rickson Andon of Saginaw, Michigan, formerly of Pohnpei, Micronesia

Beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away unexpectedly at his home with his family by his side on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was 40 years old. Rickson Andon was born on September 8, 1984, in Pohnpei, Micronesia, to his mother, Rekula Andon and stepfather, Nakasa Martin. He grew up and attended school in Micronesia, emigrating to the United States 18 years ago on August 23, 2006. Rickson first lived with his uncle in West Virginia. In 2019, he moved to Michigan living with his cousin and family. Rickson has always worked in restaurants throughout his life. He enjoyed playing volleyball and spending time with his family. Rickson will forever be remembered as a patient, kind, and funny man who loved to make other people laugh and smile.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Rekula and Nakasa Martin of Pohnpei, Micronesia; two brothers and two sisters: Regson Andon, Renely Andon, Belinda (Sanford) Hawley, Belsin Martin all of Pohnpei, Micronesia; special cousins, Iehsi (Shari) Andon of Saginaw. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Sundayy, February 2, 2025, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., Saginaw, MI 48603. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Sunday 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place in Micronesia.
