Passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at Edgewood Assisted Living Center. She was 92 years of age. Ringlet Eva Kneuss was born on November 14, 1927 to the late Frederick and Souphrina (LaLonde) Kneuss in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Donald E. Gunlock on May 28, 1949; he preceded her in death on March 18, 1999. The two spent 49 wonderful years together.
Ringlet enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; they loved Yahtzee and gin rummy. She also enjoyed assembling picture puzzles with them. With great pleasure, Ringlet loved to crochet beautiful afghans for her family and doll clothes for her granddaughters.
Surviving Ringlet are her six children; Melody (Morris Stoddard) Gunlock of St. Charles; Carl (Dorothy) Gunlock of Saginaw; Douglas (Rose) Gunlock of Saginaw; Gary (Gail) Gunlock of Saginaw; Dawn Perez of Saginaw and Deanna Griffore of Merrill. She is also survived by her 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred (June) Kneuss of AuGres; a sister in law Betty Kneuss, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband Donald, Ringlet was predeceased by three brothers, Harold and Joseph Griffin, Alvin Kneuss and two sisters; Evelyn (Fred) Neiderquill and Nancy (Robert) Fitch; and her great grandson David.
Due to the worldwide health pandemic, a private family service will take place for Ringlet with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Fr. Jack Johnson will officiate. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Edgewood Assisted Living or Heartland Hospice.
