Bannick, Robert D. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on his 68th Birthday, on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Covenant Harrison, after a brief illness. He was born July 19, 1946, in Pigeon, Michigan, the son of the late Herman and Leona (Egert) Bannick. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the Class of 1964. He had been employed as a truck driver with Detroit Ball Bearing Company. He was a member of VFW Post #1566. He was also an avid pool player, and played on many leagues. Surviving are two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaine and Roy Gilmore, Bay City; Joyce and Tom Murphy, Saginaw; one niece and four nephews, Abigail Gath (fianc Dave Flewelling), Chris (April) Murphy, Tom (Theresa) Murphy, Craig (Kim) Gilmore, and Keith Gilmore, and their families; and many dear friends. Another nephew, Richard Foster, predeceased him. Cremation has taken place. A private committal service will take place later.
