Robert D. Gibson

Gibson, Robert D. Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, passed away suddenly, at his home on Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Age 70 Years. Robert was born in Bay City, MI on February 13, 1945, son of the late Robert L. and Agnes (Hall) Gibson. He served in the U. S. Navy. He married Rosemary Walters in 1990, she survives him. He retired from Kroger after many years of service. Robert enjoyed playing cards and trips to the casino. He loved to spend time with his family, teasing the grandkids and his dog Rocco. He will be remembered by many as having a big heart, being very dependable and helpful to anyone needing a hand. Surviving besides his loving wife are his children, Bobbi Jo (Bill) Benjamin, Holly Masters, Tammy (Terry) Gardyszewski, Jack and Matt Johnston; his grandchildren; great grandchildren; his brothers, Jerry Gibson, Ron (Mary) Gibson; his sister, Kay (Tom) Grandmaison and also many other special relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie HWY. Chaplin Don Bennett will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
