Robert David Bell (Bob) Hemlock, Michigan Bob passed away peacefully in his home with his family on Thursday March 29, 2018 at the age of 67 due to ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). Robert was born on March 19, 1951 in Hemlock to the late Robert James Bell and Jacqueline (Coughlin) Bell. He graduated from Hemlock High School and then graduated from Ferris State College in 1974 with his degree in pharmacy. Bob always wanted to own his own pharmacy, so he was happy when the local drug store in Hemlock came up for sale in 1988. He enjoyed owning and operating Wrights Pharmacy in Hemlock for more than 25 years. Bob was a very generous man; he never let his customers leave without their medication, even if they could not afford it. He enjoyed spending his free time with his guitar and motorcycle, and playing golf and fishing. He is survived by three children: Valerie Bell (Saginaw), Grant Bell (Brant), and Laura Bell (Loveland, CO). He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Jeannie. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Richard Mundt will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the A.L.S.
