Beloved son, father, brother and friend passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at his home. Age 73 years old.
The son of the late Joyce (McGill) and Robert Sauve I. He was born July 6, 1948, in Saginaw, Michigan. Bob “Bobby” Sauve II graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1966. He was employed by Covenant Medical Center as a mechanical engineer, retiring with 35 years but was also a skilled waterfowl hunting and fishing guide. Bob’s competitive nature allowed him to excel in his passions as a golfer, avid duck hunter, fisherman, and deer hunter. With a larger than life personality, he never knew a stranger. He was known for his awe-inspiring bonfires and fantastic fish frys in which he shared many memorable moments with a multitude of people.
Surviving are his three children, Robert Sauve III, Ashley Kusowski and Bridget Bishop, two stepchildren Jessica Bennett and Paul Burback III. His grandchildren, Jaxson (Mississippi) Elesh, Stella Bennett, Ayden Kendrick, Logan, Chloe and Kiaden Burback. Also surviving a brother and sister, Michael J. (Theresa) Sauve; Renee (Paul) Lichau; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. A daughter, Stacy Sauve and a sister, Michele Weaver have preceded him in death.
A special thank you has been reserved for Jessica Bennett for her unwavering dedication to Bob’s care, his son, Bob, for his devotion and endless support, and Karen Simecki for her nursing care and practices.
The funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2022, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Pastor Jeff Sayad will officiate. Friends may visit with relatives at the Funeral home Saturday, February 19th from 2:00-6:00 p.m. and at 12 o’clock Sunday, February 20th until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m.
