Robert Edward LaDouce

LaDouce, Robert Edward Hemlock, Michigan Passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at his home at the age of 72 years. The son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Hewitt) LaDouce was born on January 10, 1943 in Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Sandra K. Klemish on February 10, 1965; she survives him. Robert retired from the UPS in 1994 after 35 years of service. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock and American Legion Post 439. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork, swimming in his pool and grilling. Robert most especially loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving besides his wife, Sandra are his daughter-in-law Teresa LaDouce, grandchildren: Jordan LaDouce, Jylyssa LaDouce, Mitchel LaDouce, Mason LaDouce, Sarah LaDouce, Sydney LaDouce, his siblings: John (Taki) LaDouce, Richard LaDouce, James (Marilyn) LaDouce, Nancy (Darrell) Hornbacker, Sandy (Bob) Curry, Renne Dunlap, Donna (Bob) Clark, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. Robert was predeceased by his children: Robert Edward LaDouce, Jr., Troy James LaDouce and Jill Marie LaDouce. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate with military burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of V.F.W. 7302. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Peter Lutheran Church or the Saginaw County Humane Society. Although Miller Rd. is under construction, our chapel can be accessed by turning north from Gratiot at the light at Meijers and then turn right (east) on Shields Dr. Take Shields Drive to Miller and turn right (south) to reach the funeral home.
