Robert Edward Mueller of Bridgeport, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Wellspring Lutheran Services in Frankenmuth. He was 88 years old. Robert Edward Mueller was born on December 12, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Joseph and Martha (Boensch) Mueller. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill Trade School. Robert honorably served his country in the United States Army, proudly serving in both Germany and Korea. It was love at first sight when he met the love of his life, Onalee Marie Cramer. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on May 2, 1959, she survives him. Robert was employed as a tool & die maker at both Lufkin Rule for over 21 years and General Motors with over 20 years of loyal and dedicated service. He was a faithful member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, St. Christopher Catholic Church. Robert enjoyed fishing, ice fishing, and hunting deer. Once a week, Robert and his friends would gather to drink some beers and tell stories. He was a master at making, designing, creating, and fixing anything. The jack of all trades, Robert took great pride in building his own home, as well as fixing and painting the many vehicles he owned over the years. Robert and his family fondly remembered the many memories they shared together taking various camping trips around the state and throughout the country. He will forever be remembered for his intelligence, being a loving husband, father, and grandfather, for passing his immeasurable wisdom to his children.
Surviving are four children: David (Lori) Mueller of Birch Run; Dorene (Barry) Wilson of Bridgeport; Ricky Mueller of Bridgeport; Charlene (Guy) Morin of Birch Run; three grandchildren: Rebecca (Steven) Blasch, Eric Mueller, and Heather (Devin) Miller; four great-grandchildren: Cameron Mueller, Levi Blasch, Lukas Blasch, Natalie Miller, and a grandson on the way; brother, Harold (Leah) Mueller, Margaret Heise and Leon (Carol) Mueller.
