Robert J. Carrigan

Carrigan, Robert J. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the Cartwright Center. Age 75 years. Robert Carrigan was born July 24, 1937, in Saginaw to the late Harold and Emily (Wagner) Carrigan. He married Colleen Harrison on August 16, 1958 and she predeceased him on January 20, 2002. He then married Norine Neuwirth on April 17, 2010. She survives him. Robert worked for many years with Morley Brothers, Superfoods, and Nash-Finch Company. He enjoyed bowling. In addition to his spouse, Robert is survived by: a son, James (Tracy) Carrigan; two daughters, Julie (Russ) Hintz, and Holly (Thomas) Richardson; three stepdaughters, Pam Kloha, Donna (Rich) Gunther, and Janice Baird; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Funeral Liturgy will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 6400 McCarty Road. Rev. Fr. James Carlson will officiate, assisted by Pastor Rob Schmidt with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those wishing to make an expression of sympathy consider St. John Vianney Catholic Church.
