Robert J. Eimers

Eimers, Robert J. Saginaw, Michigan Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Tuesday June 11, 2013 at home at the age of 82 years. The son of the late Luella (McKeage) and Edgar Eimers was born July 5, 1930 in Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Sharon L. Fink on May 16, 1953; she survives him. He was a member of St. John Vianney. He enjoyed walking at the mall. Surviving besides his wife, Sharon is a daughter Karen (Mark) Winkler, grandchildren; Joshua, Cody, Amanda, Ashley, Amber, great-grandchildren; Emma and Robby Eimers a son-in-law Bill (Sandy) Hansen, a sister-in-law Beverlee Leitz. He was predeceased by a daughter Lori Eimers Hansen and her daughter, Rebecca Eimers Hansen, son Robert E. Eimers, and a grandson Rob Eimers. Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road with military honors rendered by American Legion Post 439. Friends may call on Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
