Robert was born on October 10, 1949, son of the late Elmer and Lucille (Petee) Plamp, in Saginaw.
He had worked at Wally King Services for quite some time, enjoyed listening to Country music and watching movies.
Robert is survived by two children, Shirley (Richard) Fileck and Scott Plamp (Trish Nephew); five grandchildren, Whitney Rio, Aaron Filcek, Ashley Filcek, Matthew Leaman and Haleyee Plamp; two great grandchildren, Makayla Rio and Emma Plamp; sisters Carol Butcher and Sandra Brown; his brother, Elmer Plamp, Jr.
Honoring Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place.
