Robert J. Propp

Robert J. Propp Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, November 18, 2019, at Samaritis of Saginaw. Age 85 years. The son of the late Virginia (Purman) and John Propp was born May 10, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Virginia Mae Roselle, May 26, 1956. His wife of 63 years survives him. Bob was employed by Wilbert Vault Corp, retiring with 40 years of service. He was also employed by W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, for 9 years. He was a member of the Frankenmuth Woodcarvers; the Saginaw Masonic Lodge #77 F the El Khurafeh Shrine and the Bay City Consistory. He was also a member of William B. Mershon Chapter or Trout Unlimited and the Loyal Order of the Moose # 82. Bob loved to restore, buy and sell cars. Surviving besides his wife, Virginia, are a son, a daughter and their spouses, Steven Robert and Laura Propp; Brenda and John Wiegand; four grandchildren and their spouses, Dan and Elizabeth Propp; Bob Propp, Brenton and Lynnette Wiegand and Colton and Courtney Wiegand; ten great grandchildren, Emily, Willow, Isabelle, Haley, Lilly, Emmett, Landen, Carsen, Hayden and Madisen; A brother and sister-in-law, John and Ellen Propp; a sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Denny Davis; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kay and Russ Ackerman; two brothers-in-law, William Adams and Larry Benjamin; many nieces and nephews. Two great grandchildren, Olivia and Joey, two sister, Charlotte Adams and Lois Benjamin have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Donald Dinninger will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Chapel from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Shriners Hospitals for Children Transportation Fund.
