Robert James Lambkin

Robert James Lambkin Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, August 5, 2016, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 78 years. The son of the late Ruth (Steinke) and Cyrus Lambkin was born July 8, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Rose Zinz, June 4, 1960. She passed away June 26, 1980. Robert served with the U.S. Air Force. He was employed by Greyhound Foods as a manager retiring with 21 years of service. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, a lifetime member of the Saginaw Field and Stream Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. Surviving are two daughters, one son, Brenda Lambkin, Saginaw, MI; Kathy Lambkin Cicero and her husband, Steve, Deerfield Beach, FL; Michael Lambkin, Bridgeport, MI; a granddaughter, Neesa Cicero, Florida; two brothers and their wives, Curt and Gail Lambkin, Saginaw, MI; Roger and Chris Lambkin, Freeland, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his special friend, Rosemary Gaertner. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw RD. Rev. Susan Hand will officiate with Military burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #7302 Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
