Graham, Robert J. 09/26/42 -04/12/2015 Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015 at home surrounded by his family. Age 72 years. Bob was born September 26, 1942 to the late William and Ida (Dast) Graham in Saginaw. He married Patricia Piechotte on April 15, 1966 and was married for almost 49 years. She survives him. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Berlin Conflict and was a member of the VFW Post #1566, the Kosciusko Club, the American Legion #22, and the Moose Lodge. Bob retired after 25 years from Saginaw Malleable Iron. After retirement he followed his passion, cooking. He cooked for the VFW, provided catering for many events, started Burger night at the Moose Lodge. Bob was well known for jumbo burgers which he would deliver to workers at Plant 6 of "the Gear". Pork chop dinners were another of his famous dishes. The man loved to cook, and did so until several weeks before his death. He loved to feed family, friends and neighbors. Bob was also an avid bowler, poker and pool player. He was willingly involved in his clubs, was readily available to help where needed. Bob leaves one daughter, Grace Graham, Grand Rapids, one son, William (Dori) Graham, grandson Nikolas Graham, granddaughter Haley Graham, all from Oswego NY and granddaughter Patricia Ball, Grand Rapids, three brothers, William H. Graham, Manchester NY, Tom and Judye Graham, Saginaw, and Terry and Debbie Graham, Bridgeport, several sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-laws. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his stepson Phillip Rathbun, son Scott Graham and a sister Kathy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 Thursday, April 16, 2015 at W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Friends are welcome to visit with family from 1:00 until time of service. Military honors will be under the auspices of VFW Post 1566. www.casefuneralhome.com
