King, Robert L. Carrollton, MI Went home to be with his wife on December 21, 2012, at the age of 82. Robert was born August 9, 1930, in Saginaw to the late Louis and Margaret (Miller) King. He married Nancy Lou Trinklein in 1951 and she predeceased him in 1991. He retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. He was a volunteer fire fighter in Carrollton for 14 years and he coached girls' softball. He enjoyed going to the casino, boating, camping, and spending time with his family. He was a caring, big-hearted man that genuinely enjoyed helping others. He will be missed by his children, Cheryl King, Debbie Fountain, Janice (Robert) Beets, Brian (Glenda) King; 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Michael King and a brother and sister. Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Private burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
