Roeser, Robert L., D.D.S. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 09, 2015 at the age of 93 years. The son of the late Edwin and Camille (Herrig) Roeser was born on March 8, 1922 in Saginaw. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and in the Air Force during the Korean War. Robert graduated from the University of Detroit; School of Dentistry. He married Jacqueline Vallez; she predeceased him in 1977. Robert then married Dolores Hauck on March 3, 1979; she survives him. He owned and operated his own dentistry practice for 60 years, retiring in 2006. Robert was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, attending at St. Helen Campus. He was a member of the: American Dental Association (Past President), Michigan Dental Association, Saginaw Valley Dental Association, Saginaw County Dental Association, International Anesthesia Research Society, Saginaw Cleft Palate Clinic, International Brotherhood of Magicians, Old Town Saginaw Music Association, Friends of Theodore Roethke, Heritage Square Association, Freeland Historical Society, The Pulaski Club, and a member of the St. Helen Catholic Church Funeral Committee. Robert was an accomplished musician, and had his own band, he also was a magician and wood carver. He enjoyed camping, sailing, skiing, spending time with his family and friends, especially at his cabin in Gaylord, and enjoyed playing volleyball, and did so up until last year. Surviving besides his wife, Dolores, of 36 years; are his children: Helene (Michael) Pavlov, Larry (Jan) Hauck, Nancy (Chet) Kozak, Judy Jones, Alan (Lois) Hauck, Karen (Eric) Schiesswohl, grandchildren: Abbie (James) Bailey, Zachary Pavlov, Teddi (Sam) Creekmore, Janet Hauck, Paul Hauck, Sarah (Seth) Rousseau, Robert (Krystle) Jones, Christopher Jones, Stacy (Patrick) Moore, Andrew Hauck, Jason (Brooke Rich) Schiesswohl, 5 great-grandchildren and many dear relatives and friends. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 at Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, St. Helen Campus, 2445 N. Charles St., Saginaw. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate with military burial at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Friday at church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
