Robert L. Shephard

Shephard, Robert L. Saginaw, MI Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at the age of 76. Robert was born October 31, 1938, in Saginaw to the late Arthur and Leona (Johnson) Shephard. He worked as a finish carpenter for 35 years. He was a member of the Gold Wings motorcycle club, and the Ruff and Readies bowling league in Bridgeport for 30 years. He enjoyed several hobbies including his ham radio. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marcia (Ross) Shephard; daughter, Barbara (Alexander) Wallace; grandson, Justin (Chuck Jerome) Weaver; great-granddaughter, Layla; siblings, James (Janet) Shephard and Linda (Tom) Smith; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah (Weaver) Howe; grandson, Timothy Gaertner, and brother, Billy (Bernadine) Shephard. Funeral services will take place at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at W.L. Case & Company 5700 Dixie Hwy. Rev. William W. Hessler will officiate with cremation to follow.
