Robert M. Dunn

Dunn, Robert M. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, May 3, 2019, at the age of 77 years. Bob was born June 25, 1941, in Saginaw, the son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Lang) Dunn. He married Ruth Ann Matuzak August 27, 1960; she survives him. He retired from General Motors in 2003, after many years of service. He was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where he was a member of the ushers group, the guitar group, the Befrienders ministry, and the Knights of Columbus Council #8808 He served on the Board of Directors of the Holy Spirit Parish Credit Union. Bob was a member of the Shields Mens Club and was a blood donor for many years. Surviving are his beloved wife, Ruth Ann; three children: Rev. Rebecca Dunn, Saginaw; Stephen (JoAnn) Dunn, Saginaw; Timothy Dunn, Bay City; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Wesley; one brother, Michael Dunn, Saginaw; two sisters, Kathy (Tom) Smith, Saginaw; Vickie Sochacki, Bay City; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Michael Matuzak, Pat (Paula) Matuzak, Jeffrey (Karla) Matuzak, Lisa (Robert) White; many nephews, nieces and friends. He was predeceased by a sister-in-law and brother-inlaw, Diane and Edward Premo. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Rev. Fr. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd., from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, where the Knights of Columbus Council #8808 will pray the Rosary at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and where a parish Vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Family and friends may then call at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral Mass.
