Robert Michael Stephens

Robert Michael Stephens of Saginaw (Bridgeport Township) passed away on Friday May 6, 2016 at the age of 44 years. The only child of Kaye (Oswald) and the late Bob Stephens was born February 5, 1972. Some of Robert's early interests were rock n' roll, drawing, working on automotives, and riding dirt bikes. Rob enjoyed the variety of several jobs but his favorites were at Michigan Sugar Company and working on auto mechanics. On August 27, 1992 Robert had his first and only child, Cassandra. Robert and Cassandra's mother, Trista (Loos), were married for 13 years. Rob was very talented and especially enjoyed his hobby projects like building a salmon fishing boat, a go-kart for Cassandra, and even an entire Ford Bronco from scrap. Rob will be remembered for his grand generosity, sense of humor, and skillfulness. Above all he loved God, his family, and animals. Rob's surviving family members are his daughter Cassandra Stephens and mother Kaye Stephens. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Saginaw Wesleyan Church, 2125 Shattuck Road. Friends may visit with the family on Friday at church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Pastor Michael Henry and Pastor Robert Tibbits will officiate.
