Robert Owen Zietz

Zietz, Robert Owen Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, December 19, 2013 at St. Mary's of Michigan, age 85 years. Robert was born in Saginaw, Michigan July 5, 1928 the son of the late Elmer and Alberta (Acker) Zietz. He married Myrtle J. Chartrand June 19, 1954 and she survives him. Robert retired from the 2nd National Bank after 38 years of service. He was a member at Second Presbyterian Church. In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by three children, Deborah (Charles) Peckham, R. Paul (Michelle) Zietz and Kathryn (Scott) Langhorne; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Zietz. He was predeceased by a brother, Earl Zietz and a sister, Doris Chartrand. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at Second Presbyterian Church, 2665 Midland Road. Rev. James Neumann will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Sunday from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m. and at church Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
