Robert "Buck" Robertson

Robertson, Robert "Buck" Saginaw, Michigan Passed Sunday March 23, 2014 at St. Mary's of Michigan at the age of 76 years. Buck was born October 15, 1937 in Bent Creek, Virginia. The son of the late Curtis W. and Eleanor Louise (Doss) Robertson. Buck Retired from CSX Railroad in 1999 following 43 years of service. Buck served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law Dixie and Brad Balderstone; three grandchildren; Tyler, Abbe and Madison Balderstone; two brothers and two sister; Mary (Richard) Gunter, Cecil Faye (James) Burks, Randall (Nancy) Robertson and Charles (Sarah) Robertson; many nieces and nephews. Buck was predeceased by two brothers; Curtis Robertson and David Robertson. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday March 28, 2014 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Private family burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Saginaw Children Zoo.
