Roberta Helen Bouleau
Beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and great-aunt went home to be with her Lord on Friday, March 4, 2022. She was 78 years old. Roberta Helen Hinton was born on January 14, 1944, in Yale, Michigan, to the late John Franklin and Bernice Helen (Martin) Hinton. She was a 1962 graduate of Yale High School. After completing high school, Roberta went on to receive her LPN, RN, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Michigan University, and a Master's Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Michigan. She spent most of her nursing career working for St. Luke's Hospital, St. Luke's Surgicare Center, and Covenant HealthCare. She married Paul Joseph Bouleau, on August 23, 1975; he preceded her in death on April 13, 2016. Roberta was a lifelong and founding member of Family Baptist Church where she faithfully played the piano and organ from 1975 to 2020. Above all, she enjoyed serving her Lord and she also loved to travel and spend time with her friends.
Surviving are a brother, Harold (Konnie) Hinton of Saginaw; two nephews, Chad (Amanda) Hinton and Jason (Gretchen) Hinton; great-nephew, Michael Hinton; special friends, Ceila Burkett and Cheryl Euler; Also surviving are many cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernice Hinton; and an infant brother, Robert Hinton.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Care Team Hospice and her special caregiver, René, for all the love and care they provided to Roberta.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the W.L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Stanley Dulaney will officiate. Private burial will follow at Croswell Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Family Baptist Church.
