Beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper, with his family at his side; at the age of 53 years.

The son of Roberto Perez Sr. and the late Estellah (Gonzales) Perez, Fish was born on May 29, 1968 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of Carrollton High School with the class of 1986. Fish married the love of his life, Inez Soza on October 3, 1998. He was a Slot Supervisor for eleven years of loyal and dedicated service until his retirement. Fish was a member of Greater Dimensions Church. He was an avid football and wrestling fan. Fish was everyone's favorite fan and supporter at sporting and extracurricular events, especially of his sons and family. Above all, Fish cherished the time with his family at get-togethers and other events.

Surviving besides his wife of 23 years, Inez Perez; are their five sons: Angelo Martinez, Roberto "Papa" Perez III, Matheo Perez, Diego "Max" Perez, Romulo Perez; his father: Roberto Perez Sr.; his mother-in-love: Rebecca "Ma-Pooh" (Julian) Delgado; three sisters and one brother: Elizabeth Perez (Ramiro DeLaCruz), Chris Perez, Yvette Pena, Stephanie Pena; sister and brother-in-law: Tanya Soza, Daniel (Fenis) Soza III; four God-children: Daniel Rivera, Valentin Perez, Salena Juarez, Marcello Juarez; four furbabies: Tigress, Sparty, Rosco P-co Train Von Steele and special nephew: Sonny. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Besides his mother, Fish was preceded in death by his bonus mother: MaryLou Perez; his grandparents: Romulo and Eva Perez, Guadalupe and Guadalupe Gonzales; his father-in-law: Daniel Soza Jr.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to a very dear niece: Daniella Rivera for her kind and compassionate care of Fish; and to special cousins and very dear friends for their special times, memories, laughter and encouragement: Carl Leal, Michael Leal, Federico Perez Jr., Sam Hernandez, Dr. Julian Gonzalez, Stuart McKay and Larry Rodriguez.

Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Greater Dimensions Church, 5545 McCarty Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603. Dr. Julian Gonzales and First Lady Ava Gonzales will officiate. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48603; and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, the family of Roberto "Fish" Perez Jr. kindly encourages memorials to be made for his children's college education, c/o Inez Perez.
