Rodney James Morgan "Hot Rod" Saginaw, Michigan Passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, March 8, 2018, age 57 years. He was born on June 7, 1960, son of the late Karen Kricher and Wayne Morgan, in Saginaw. He was the owner of Hot Rods Radios and More. Rodney loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed NASCAR, mudbogs, trail rides, camping and fishing. Rodney will be missed by his father Wayne (Sharon) Morgan; his step-father, Jerry Kricher; daughters, Stephanie Morgan (Jason), Mary (Chris) LaDrig and Amanda Best (Vick); grandchildren, Nathen and Bryce Bardoni, Jayden Morgan, Raven LaDrig, Bryanna Willette, Jayace Lemmer and one on the way; sister, Dawn (Rob) Ashmall; step-sisters, Laurie Esler and Deborah Burton; the mother of his children, Paula Morgan; his special cousin, Donnie Bancroft (Michelle); special friends, Tom Hill, John (Tammy) Herzog, Wolfie, Prestion (Ginny) Brayman, Brian Royal, Chris Howe and Jeff Weirauch; also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Denice Palmer and his girlfriend, Joan Braman. Honoring Rodneys wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Nelson United Methodist Church, 5950 Hemlock Road. Pastor Michael Vollmer will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression may wish to consider the Morgan family in care of Mary LaDrig.
