Roger Lee Candiff

Passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the age of 81 years. The son of the late Jay Candiff and Letha Grace (Martin) Hogan was born on October 29, 1936 in Ionia, MI. Roger served in the U.S. Air Force and later the National Guard. He married Jennie Hazel Russell in 1960; she survives him. Roger retired from the U.S. Postal Service after over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed working on his HAM Radio, and searching for semi-precious gemstones while on hikes. Surviving besides his wife of 57 years, Jennie, are their children: Letha Lynn Candiff, Annabelle Lee (Mark) Murphy, Sean Candiff, grandchildren: Jennie May Sehl, Amber Sue Lake, Letha Marie Lake, Diran Frost, Shane Candiff, Courtney Candiff, great-grandchildren: Alexus, Gage, Destiny, Ryalin, Hayley, James, Savannah, Lucius, Naomi, Noah, Nadia, Echo, Natalie, Aiden, Kadence, his brother Dennis Hogan and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a son, Diran Russell Candiff and a sister, Janet. In accordance with Rogers wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
