Roger Edward Price

Roger Edward Price, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully at home September 8,2024, surrounded by his devoted family. 

Roger was born on February 10, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Herman and Grace (Mary) Price. Roger dedicated 47 years of his professional life to General Motors, where he served with pride as a team leader and was an active member of the United Auto Workers (U.A.W.). His commitment to his career reflected his strong work ethic and dedication.

Beyond his career, Roger was known for his vibrant personality and his passion for sports. He was an avid supporter of the University of Michigan, the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions. Throughout his life, he found joy in watching games and cheering on his teams, a pastime that brought him great happiness and camaraderie. An enthusiast of golf, he also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Baywood Lounge and loved WWE wrestling, proudly proclaiming himself a huge Hulk Hogan fan.

Roger married Audrey Price on June 1, 1974. Audrey preceded him in death on December 19, 2019. Roger is survived by their four children Tonia (Jason Piper) Reinig, Chad Price, Brian (Rachel) Price, and Keith (Amanda) Price; six grandchildren Lyndsey, Nolan, Madelyn, Brady, Sophia, and Avery; one sister-in-law Pam Price; and many nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his loving wife Audrey Price; his parents Herman and Grace Price; three brothers, Michael, Frederick, Patrick, and one sister, Janet.

Roger also leaves behind his cherished Shih Tzu’s Max and Shelby. 

Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603, where a funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate the service.
