Seidel, Rolland "Denny" Saginaw, MI Passed away on Monday January 14, 2013 at his home with his family by his side at the age of 69 years. The son of the late Rolland O. and Rosa (Zeigler) Seidel was born on March 5, 1943 in Saginaw. He married Sally J. Keys on May 8, 1965; she survives him. He served in the US Navy, on the USS Kitty Hawk which was stationed in San Diego, Hawaii and Japan. Denny retired from Eaton Manufacturing after 32 years of service. After retiring, he worked for the Crooked Creek Driving Range. He enjoyed sports and reading. Surviving besides his wife, Sally are their children; Christine (Gene) Guffanti, Orlando, Florida; Shelley (Scott) Schalk, Saginaw, MI; grandchildren; Kevin, Tiffany, Jena, a great grandson, Brian; siblings Daris Sova, Conrad Seidel, Karl (Melissa) Seidel and many nieces and nephews. Denny was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Seidel, nephew Michael Sova and an infant son. The family would like to thank Dr. Ramasamy and office staff, and Katy and the rest of the VNA staff for the excellent care they gave Denny. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 Court St. Rev. James F. Krueger will officiate with military burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly MI. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
