RONALD C BAMBERG 12/3/1939-3/28/2017 Saginaw, Michigan A loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather passed away at home surrounded by family on 3/28/17, Age 77. Born to Raymond C. & Edna (Sommers) Bamberg Dec. 3, 1939. A graduate of Saginaw High School 1958. Married Judith (Wolderzak) Turner May 8, 1998; she survives him. Served in the National Guard, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, employed at Grey Iron Foundry retiring in 1996 with 31 years of service. Ron enjoyed spending time with family, yard work, traveling and attending grandkids sports events. Surviving besides his wife are two sons Troy (Bridget) Bamberg, Charlevoix, MI, Todd (Shawn) Bamberg, Empire, MI; four step-daughters Anne (Craig) Leddy, Saginaw, MI, Cathy (Steve) Goike, Alpena, MI, Cheri (Tony) Dobschensky and Deanna Turner, Saginaw, MI. brother Marv (Aloy) Bamberg, Rio Rancho, NM, sister-in-law Betty Bamberg, Reese, MI; grandchildren Jordan (Jennifer) Bamberg, Kelsey (fianc Stephen), Petoskey, MI, Tyler Bamberg, Nashville, TN, Kayla (fianc Dalton), Lake Ann, MI, step-grandchildren Tara (David) Deline, Blake Leddy, Saginaw, MI, Dylan, Aidan, Garrett Goike, Alpena, MI, TJ Dobschensky, Ann Arbor, MI, Michael Dobschensky, Greenville, TX, Tony Purifoy (Temara) and Ashton Turner, Saginaw, MI; 5 greatgrandchildren. Predeceased in death parents and twin brother Donald Bamberg. The family would like to thank Covenant VNA Hospice and nurse Don Lown for the care they gave Ron. In accordance with Ronald's wishes, cremation has taken place and his remains interred at St. Andrew Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 3, 2017 at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Ave. Rev. Robert M. Eggers will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Peace Lutheran Church.
