Beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away with his family by his side, on Monday, May 15, 2023. At the age of 55 years.

Ronald was born on May 13, 1968, son of Ronald and Genevieve Cook (Hildebrant), in Saginaw. He was a proud graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1986. Ronald retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections, after 8 years of loyal and dedicated service. In his free time, he loved spending time with his cat Pumkin, watching Monday Night Raw, watching and attending hockey games, and was a huge supporter of University of Michigan football. He will forever be remembered as being goofy, giving, compassionate, and dependable.

Surviving is his mother, Genevieve; daughter, Mikayla; grandson, Jayce; two brothers, James and Michael (Miulan); half-brother and half-sister, Rodney and Judy; nine nieces and nephews, Jessica, Amanda, Travis, Landen, Logan, Rodney, Lauryn, Samantha, and Lucas; two aunts, Evonna Smith and Nancy Oliver; one uncle, Russell Dupuis; and cousins; Deb and Bob. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Ronald; half-brother, Robert Hildebrant; and half-sister, Patricia Birdsall.

Funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F.M. Cap will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Heart Association.
