Brother, Uncle, a friend to all animals and everyone’s Valentine, Ronald (Ronny) Howe, son of Sam and Edna (Purdy) Howe, was born in Saginaw on February 14, 1933.
Ronny was a well-loved and valued member of the Metevia-Howe household. He enjoyed watching television, playing with his little dog and spending time with his family.
Born one of God’s special children, Ronny lived a full and blessed life that expanded 88 years. It is today, however, that Ronny is living his BEST life; happy and whole, resting in his mother’s arms and Christ’s everlasting love.
Mastering in the areas of compassion, good humor and acceptance, Ronny taught us that in spite of a person’s limitations, we really are more alike than not and that “different” does not mean “less than.”
Ronny passed away peacefully, at home with his family and little dog by his side on September 15, 2021.
Ronny is survived by his older sister and devoted guardian/caregiver of more than sixty years, Alvina (Babe) Metevia, younger sister, Delores (Dolly) Bigger, several nieces and nephews, and his little dog, Kiwi. Preceding Ronny in death are his mother and father, siblings, Sidney Howe, Maxine (Sally) Pogoreski, Kenneth Howe and brother-in-law, Bob Metevia.
Ron’s family would like to offer a special thank you to the staff at Careline Hospice for the compassion and exceptional care they extended to Ronny and their entire family.
