Schultz, Ronald Lee Saginaw, Michigan Ronald Lee Schultz, beloved and treasured Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, and friend passed away peacefully at his home in the early hours of October 30, 2015 at the age of 71. Ronald was born September 15, 1944 in Saginaw, MI to the late Robert and Anna Mae (Hoffman) Schultz. After graduating from Saginaw High School, he enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by Eaton Corporation and later contracted for Delphi Corporation, retiring in 2008. Ron was a "car guy" and had recently purchased his dream car a 2016 Stingray Corvette to add to his fleet of a Camaro and Pontiac G8. In his younger years, he rode a Harley Davidson going on many cross country trips with his rider buddies. Ron golfed, bowled, camped, loved to read, listen to music, and cook, especially his home cooked Thanksgiving dinners his favorite holiday. As a young man, he was a good baseball and basketball player, and remained an avid sports fan all his life. He enjoyed relaxing over a "Bud" with family and friends, and a glass of "Pinch" at the end of the day. Ron was a very generous man and a man who valued his family with all his heart. He was always grateful and humble about his many blessings and enjoyed life very much. He loved the Lord. We who are left on this earth weep for our loss, our Ronnie. May God welcome Ron into His home, prepared especially for him. He leaves behind wife Kaye (Volz); sons James (Kimberly), David (Lena) Schultz, Stan Marino, and daughter Kerrie (Bud) Klass; sister Jan (Ed) Elbers; Uncle Dave Hoffman; granddaughters Emma, Rhian, and Emily; brothers and sisters in-laws Herb and Ruthann, Timothy and Debbie; many nieces and nephews Craig, Becky, Brent, Kelly, Marcie, Brian, Sherry, Herb, Shelly, Tom, Gail, Marylou, Dale, Andrew, Nicole, Kyle, Justin; and many cherished friends. Ron was predeceased by his brother Ed Schultz and sister-in-law Pat Volz. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #22. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
