Ronald Howard Whiteherse

Ronald Howard Whiteherse Jr., age 76, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away at his home on Friday, September 20, 2024, with his loving family at his side.

Ron was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on September 26, 1947, the son of the late Ronald Howard Whiteherse and Lois (Webster) Whiteherse. Ron graduated from Oscoda High School in 1966 and worked in sales throughout his life. He was united in marriage with Janice Becker on May 24, 1969. He served in the National Guard and was a former member of the Masonic Order. He was a lifelong University of Michigan football fan. He enjoyed golfing and traveling with his wife Jan and loved to attend his grandchildren’s sporting and dance events.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Jan Whiteherse; one son and his spouse, Ryan and Jenna Whiteherse; three grandchildren, Isabelle, Abi, and Brady; many nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Lois Whiteherse; and his sister, Karen Selk.

Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life gathering will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2024, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Humane Society of Saginaw County or the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
