Rosalie Ann Israel of Birch Run, Michigan
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully, with her husband by her side, on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Covenant HealthCare – Cooper. She was 75 years old. Rosalie Ann Hepinstall was born on October 24, 1946, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Thayer Amos and Julia Ann (Hebl) Hepinstall. She proudly attended Arthur High School. Rosalie met the love of her life while out on a blind date. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on February 3, 1974, at the Church of God; he survives her. She worked as a waitress for various restaurants throughout the community, but loyally served the longest at Tony’s Restaurant in Birch Run. The role of her lifetime was to become a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a faithful Christian and a former member of the Anchor of Hope Church in Saginaw and Charity Tabernacle Church in Chesaning. Rosalie’s little piece of heaven was reading the Bible and memorizing scripture passages. As a young woman, she enjoyed dancing with her husband, Mark, and bowling with family and friends. Rosalie had a great mind and excelled at crossword puzzles and working on jigsaw puzzles. She left her indelible mark in this world through her generosity, for being a selfless and loving spirit, and for truly living an amazing life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Mark Israel of Birch Run; two daughters and a son: Tammie (Mark) Massey of Flushing; Mark Junior Israel of Saginaw; Robin Thiel of Saginaw; seven grandchildren: Amber Elizabeth (Tommy Lee) Dover, Kelsey Lynn Lefler, Aaron Michael (Haleigh) Massey Charles Hudson Lefler, Tevin Terell (Alejandra) Jackson, Christian Mark Jackson, and Taylor Lawrence Jackson, 8 great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra (Bill Near) Bradburn of Bridgeport; a brother, Thayer “Butch” (Sarah) Hepinstall of Saginaw; five sister-in-law, Mary Hepinstall of Ohio; Jan Schwabb of Saginaw; Enola Gay Danks of Saginaw; Loretta Israel of Saginaw; and Frankie Morrison of Saginaw. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thayer and Julia Hepinstall; three sisters and two brothers: Faye Hepinstall, Betty Lown, June Curtis, Frank “Sonny” Schwabb, and Dale Hepinstall.
