Rosalie "Rosie" Guevara was called home to our Lord on Friday, June 11, 2021, at McLaren Hospital, Bay City, MI. Rosie was born on November 10, 1956 to the late Rodolfo and Angela (Diaz) Guevara.

Rosie attended Saginaw Public Schools where she graduated from Saginaw High School with the class of 1974. After high school Rosie was employed with Dow Chemical where she retired from after many years of loyal and dedicated service. Rosie lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed spending time with her family. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her two sons, her pride and joy: Jimmy and Michael.

Rosie is survived by her son: Jimmy Guevara (Beatrice Cooper); Theresa and Nikia who she considers as two of her daughters. Five grandchildren: Jalen, Cierra, Mychaela, Milonzo, Jaexeon; nine brothers and sisters: Nina, Laura, Rudy, Irene, Cindy, David, Joe, Sylvia, and Theresa. A host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Special niece and nephew: Lisa and Sam. Many close friends and eight very dear friends: James Jones, Dale Bently, Gary and Peggy Hall, Marsha Buchanan, Mattie Cushman, Greta Jones, Priscilla Nicholas. Rosie was welcomed home by her son: Michael Guevara, her mother and father: Rodolfo and Angela Guevara.

The Guevara family will like to give special thanks for the prayers, calls and texts messages. Bishop Alvernis Johnson of Kingdom Life Ministries, Minister Frank and Rita Gallardo of Living Faith Family Ministry. The 2nd floor staff at McLaren Hospital and her nurse: Kattie. W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel for the wonderful home going celebration.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Living Faith Family Ministries, 1902 Stone Street, Saginaw, Michigan. Rev. Frank Gallardo will officiate. Honoring Rosie’s wishes, cremation will follow. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
