Rose Lucille Strong

Rose L. Strong St. Louis, Michigan Formerly of Merrill, Michigan Went to be with her Lord, Thursday, March 23, 2017. Age 85 years. Rose was born November 2, 1931 to the late Sidney D. and Anna A. (Slaybaugh) Strong. Rose grew up in Merrill and graduated from Merrill High School, Class of 1949. Prior to her illness, she had been employed by Lufkin Rule in Saginaw. She loved her Studebaker and attending local races at Auburn and Dixie race Tracks. She loved playing cards and bingo in her later years. Surviving are two brothers, one sister, Sidney Strong Jr. and his wife, Barb; Robert and Arlene Strong all of Merrill, MI; Dorthey Tank, Frankenmuth, MI; many nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her sister, Annabelle Rigg, four nephews; 2 brothers-in-law; and one niece. In accordance with Rose's wishes, cremation has taken place. Her family wish to thank Pine River Health Care, St. Louis, MI. staff and caregivers for their years of love and care for her. We also wish to thank Heartland Hospice for their care of Rose.
