Rose Viola Krueger

Krueger, Rose Viola Hemlock, MI Passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Masonic Pathways, at the age of 97 years. Rose was born February 5, 1917 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of the late Fred and Amelia (Kurghals) Wenzel. She married Harry Krueger November 4, 1939. He predeceased her November 16, 1978. Rose was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Hemlock. She loved to work on the farm and tend to her garden. Rose is survived by her three children, Leonard (Bonnie) Krueger, Jimmy (Sally) Krueger and Rosanne Hatfield; eight grandchildren, Leonard (LouAnn) Krueger, Jr., Todd (Sue) Krueger, Tammy Jastrzemski, Ryan Krueger, Pauline Tallon, Joseph (Shari) Hatfield, Jason Hatfield and Jody Hatfield; 13 great-grandchildren; her brother, Tom Wenzel and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Rose was predeceased by a son-in-law, Thomas Hatfield and 13 siblings. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, 2290 Pretzer Rd., Hemlock. Rev. Phil Bigelow will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 2:00 8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. and at church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
