Ross James Fairchild

Ross James Fairchild Bridgeport, Michigan Loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Covenant Healthcare - Saginaw, Michigan at the age of 84 years. The son of the late Raymond and Eleanor (McCall) Fairchild, was born on February 12, 1934, in Owosso, Michigan. Ross married Joan M. Sersen on June 13, 1953 in Corunna, Michigan. She predeceased him on July 21, 2015. He retired from Wilson Machine in Saginaw and B&K in Bridgeport. Ross enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, vegetable gardening, woodworking and helping family and friends. Surviving are his children, Doug (Cathy) Fairchild, Gil (Coline) Fairchild, Rich Fairchild, Jan Bolinger and Phil (Kim) Fairchild; 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother, Glen Fairchild; sister, Donna Brittain; also many other relatives and close friends. Honoring Rosss wishes cremation has taken place. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway, Bridgeport, MI.
