Roy Edward Lamb Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Covenant. Age 72 years. The son of the late James Lester and Lydia Marie (Hill) Lamb was born December 21, 1941 in Tway, Kentucky. He graduated from Hemlock High School, Class of 1960. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He married Gail March Maquet. She survives him. He was employed as a machine repairman for General Motors, retiring with 26 years of service. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #699, was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed bird watching. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, a daughter and son-in-law, Mark Edward Lamb; Gregory James Lamb; Vicki Sue and Patrick Kramer; two grandchildren, Matthew and Shawna Kramer; a brother, Lonnie Lamb, a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Alice and Bill Lloyd; a sister-in-law, Elaine Lamb; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Charles Lamb, has predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Dan Bonner will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Chapel from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Monday.
