Roy passed away quietly on March 8, 2025 at Bickford Senior Living, Midland, Michigan.

The son of John & Barbara (Pickleman) Weber was born on March 14, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan.

He was married to the love of his life Geraldine June Grunow on May 27, 1944. Gerry passed away on March 5, 2004 after 60 years of marriage. Roy & Gerry also had a son, John who passed away on March 5, 1994.

Roy worked at Universal Engineering in Frankenmuth, Michigan for 36 years as a tool maker. Roy was the youngest of eight children and was predeceased by his brothers Clarence, Wilmer, Harold and his sisters Amanda, Hilma, Dorothy and Irene.

He is survived by his daughter Patricia Dankert (Trish) & husband Brian of Sanford, Michigan. Also grandchildren Amy & Jason Patterson, Garland, Texas, Aaron and Lisa Davis of Racine, Wisconsin, Matthew & Sarah Dankert of Davison, Michigan.

Also surviving are 8 great grandchildren, Abby, Avery & Logan Patterson, Hannah, Trevor & Braeton Davis, Jordanne & Brody Dankert.

Roy was an avid golfer until the age of 97. Along with golf he enjoyed fishing, hunting, trips to Las Vegas with Gerry and wintering in Marco Island, Florida. Roy enjoyed technology, he also enjoyed lots of different card games with anyone that would play. He will be missed.

Cremation has taken place and he will be joining Gerry in their special place at Oakwood Mausoleum, Saginaw, Michigan.
