Ruth Agnes Schramke was born on October 26, 1927, to the late Clarence and Sophia (Benkert) Schramke. She met the love of her life, Carsten Andrew Gosen, while attending a dance at Ravenna Gardens on Swan Creek Road. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on her 19th birthday, October 26, 1946, at St. Peter & Paul Church in Saginaw; he survives her. Ruth was a proud graduate of Kern’s Beauty School and licensed to practice cosmetology. She was a longtime faithful member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Ruth was an amazing cook and knew exactly what was needed to make every meal great. She enjoyed quilting and traveling, especially taking trips in her motorhome. Above all, Ruth loved and cherished her family and friends. She looked forward all year to the big family Christmas party, and especially buying gifts for the little ones. She will forever be remembered for her thoughtfulness, soft-spoken kindness, beautiful smile, and her selflessness to all she loved.
