A devoted teacher and beloved family member, Ruth Ann Hilton (Tremblay) passed away on December 11, 2024, in Saginaw at the age of 84. Born on April 30, 1940 to the late Cyril and Vera Tremblay (Jones), Ruth Ann touched many lives throughout her personal endeavors.

A graduate of Central Michigan University, she dedicated her life to educating young minds, embodying the qualities of a loving, kind, and caring individual. Her passion for teaching was evident, as she nurtured her students with wisdom, patience, and dedication. Ruth Ann was known for her many hobbies and interests, which included her enjoyment of the Game Show Network, word searches, and reading. However, nothing brought her greater joy than spending quality time with her family. She married L. Page Hilton on June 30, 1962 in Ovid, Michigan. They went on to spend 62 wonderful years together until his passing on April 7, 2020. Ruth Ann retired from Swan Valley School District as a Special Education Teacher and was a devoted member of First United Methodist Church. She loved to sing in the church choir and served on the memorial garden committee.

Ruth Ann is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Todd) Trisch, and her son, Keith (Ashley) Hilton, six grandchildren: Jake, Tyler, and Matthew Trisch, and Kaitlyn, Lance, and Layne Hilton. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents, brother Gary, brothers-in-law David and Perry, and sister-in-law Diane.

Honoring Ruth Ann's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place in January. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48638.
