Ruth Laura Ray

Ruth Laura Ray Standish, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed away Friday, May 19, 2017, in Tawas, Michigan. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late Helen G. (Muirhead) and Clarence Hilborn was born November 15, 1926 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Charles Ray, May 6, 1946. He passed away June 4, 2006. Ruth enjoyed going to bingos, doing crafts, sewing and crocheting, and playing Yahtzee and cards. Surviving are a son and his wife, Jeffery and Cindy Ray; a daughter, Dusty Settler and her special friend, Tim Blake; six grandchildren, Kandi Smith; Laura Yeider; Krystal Daniel; Sam Settler; Casey Settler and Molly Blake; twelve great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A brother, Roland Hilborn and a sister, Phyllis Noggle have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Chapel from 11:00 a.m. until time of the funeral service.
