Ruth Marie Miller

Ruth Marie Nagel Miller Saginaw, Michigan Ruth was born on December 6, 1923 in Saginaw, Michigan. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Frederick Otto Miller, in 1989 (whom she married on May 8, 1947) and had no siblings. She leaves behind two loving sons, Brian Mark Miller (Jacquelyn) of Mill Valley, California and Randall William Miller (Lynn) of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She also has five grandchildren - Kristen, Elizabeth and Barret (Magan) Miller and Eric (Christine) and Aaron Lindauer. There are three great grandchildren Braden and Kaylie Miller and Luke Lindauer. Her family was the light of her life. Ruth graduated from Saginaw High School in the Class of 1941 and worked at Eaton Manufacturing for five years. She was a member of the Bay City Country Club for forty years and a life member of both Germania Club and the Women's Farm and Garden Association, Saginaw Division. She gave countless volunteer hours to these clubs and to her local hospital. She attended and contributed to her beloved church, Peace Lutheran, for 62 years. Ruth had a tightly knit group of lovely friends, many who date back to high school. They supported her to the very end and will also not be forgotten by her family. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, playing cards and games, swimming and wintering in Hawaii since 1990. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, September 30 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Case Funeral Home, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48603. A funeral service will be held at Peace Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 1 at 11:00 am. Visitation will also be available at the church from 10:00 am until the service. She will be entombed at Oakwood Mausoleum.
