Sally Frances Diener of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2020. She was 75 years old. Sally Frances Myers was born on August 10, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Jacob and Anna (Bauer) Myers. She married the love of her life, Alvin F. Diener on June 24, 1994, at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock. Sally was employed with Genesee Packaging in the office; retiring in 1995 after many years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Sally enjoyed traveling, but above all she treasured and cherished the moments she spent with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 25 years, Alvin F. Diener of Saginaw; brothers Von (Maxine) Myers of Lupton, Tom (Sue) Myers of Saginaw, Ben (Jane) Myers of Saginaw; sister Doris (LeRoy) Reiss of Saginaw; her children Steve (Judy) Clemens of Merrill, Tina (Fred) Wiedbrauh of South Carolina, Pam (Roger) Breternitz of Hemlock, Trina (Brian) Snoddy of Houston; her 9 grandchildren; her 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandchildren Kimberley Clemens and Nathaniel Coe.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd., Hemlock. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service, while practicing social distancing. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate with burial to follow at Richland Lutheran Cemetery, Hemlock. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Peter Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
