Sally Jean Schneider

Went to join her husband Harvey Arthur Schneider on March 8, 2016 at the age of 81 years. The daughter of the late George and Theresa (LaBeau) O'Brien was born on November 4, 1934 in Saginaw. She married Harvey on November 28, 1953; he predeceased her on May 3, 2002. Sally enjoyed camping, mushrooming, and visiting with family and neighbors. Harvey and Sally enjoyed making and selling wood crafts together. Surviving are her children: Harvey George (Cindy) Schneider of St. Charles; Dan (Bev Warner) Schneider of Petoskey; Sally Jo Schneider of St. Charles; two grandchildren: Jamie of Saginaw; Jeremy of St. Charles; her special great-granddaughter Celeste, her brother John O'Brien of Texas, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Sally was predeceased by her two brothers: Theron and Otto and two sisters: Estelle "Babe" and Ann. The family would like to thank the staff at Covenant VNA Hospice for the wonderful care they gave Sally. Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Burial will take place at Swan Creek Township Cemetery. Friends may visit on Thursday at the funeral chapel from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity or March of Dimes.
